ALV SERVICE
The application ALV SERVICE provides an integrated solution for value added services in mobile repair labs.
The target of the application is not to lose the content of a mobile phone during the repair process, or a firmware upgrade.
It is exclusively operated by authorized users, who have basic computer skills.
The provided services are grouped into the following two categories:
> Backup
> Restore
The BACKUP process extracts all the digital content of a mobile phone to an encrypted folder of a computer via cable, infra red and Bluetooth.
The RESTORE process imports the digital content from an encrypted folder of a computer to a mobile phone via cable, infra red and Bluetooth.
The application provides adequate connection and disconnection instructions (phone-specific; the user is warned for any identified malfunction throught the entire process (i.e. wrong mobile phone connected, low battery, etc.)
Upon the completion of the BACKUP or RESTORE process, a report is printed out, in which all the transaction details are included; the printout can be used a point of reference for tracking or statistics purposes.
The application ALV SERVICE can import to the phone, during the RESTORE process, a bonus file as a present.
It has to be noted that a non-functional mobile phone cannot be connected to the application.
